First Impressions of the Bluebottle Restaurant is the voluminous double height space featuring the ‘Calamari’ inspired oval shaped main bar with its translucent curtain shroud suspended over it. Evocative images of cooking, food and fish penned by Olsen, in particular the painting’ Popping Bottles’ are inspirations for the project. Striking cane and metal ‘lobster pot’ lights hang from the main mosaic tiled central columns. An inspired seafood based restaurant and bar that depicts Olsen’s fascination with water wine and food coupled with a passionate restaurateur has evolved into a signature of the Olsen Hotel.
